Privacy Policy

No signup, name, email or phone number is needed to play. Progress is saved in your browser on this device. Clearing browser data deletes it.

When you finish, we store your accusation, interrogation count, solve time and suspicion picks, without an identifier. We ask who you suspect up to three times per case. Optional feedback is stored the same way. We use these only for combined player statistics, such as "41% accused the same person".

After a case, you can leave your email for one next-case announcement or to join our leaderboard. Announcement-only emails are used for that one message. Leaderboard emails identify your entry and receive the same announcement. Other players can see your chosen leaderboard name. Choose it with that in mind. Neither email joins a newsletter or marketing list. Email contact@liars.party any time to be removed.

PostHog records page views, actions and session replays so we can understand how people play. It receives your submitted answers to the three post-verdict questions. Reasoning and feedback drafts are masked in replays. We keep your email out of PostHog. We never sell this data or use it for advertising.

Voice input is processed on your device. Enabling it downloads speech software and a model. The optional conversation model also runs on your device. Model downloads contact their hosts, which receive normal connection information such as your IP address, but not your recordings or messages. Downloaded models may remain in your browser cache until you clear site data.

We do not send microphone audio or detective conversation text to our servers or analytics. The conversation stays in this page and clears when you reload. Listen controls use audio files where available, or an installed local English voice, with Indian English preferred. Audio preferences are saved on this device. Closing the detective stops its recording and playback.

Dictated reasoning and feedback remain editable before you submit them. Once submitted, that text uses the same gameplay statistics and analytics described above as typed answers.

Purchases are not currently offered. We do not collect card or UPI details. This policy will describe the payment provider and data received before purchases open.

Cloudflare hosts and protects this site. It processes IP addresses and request logs for those purposes.
